Could You Tell Us A Bit About Yourself And How You Got Involved In Fitness?
Eating Clean and healthy for me is a lifestyle not a diet. I live my life as if I am two weeks out from a show year around. It’s getting into a mind set and finding a way to keep it and still enjoy life! I found myself in my first show after working as a fitness chef in a small personal training studio in Houston TX. I have been in love ever since. I’m now a Pro competitor and train in California at Zero Gravity Fitness with the best trainer Ryan Bentson. I am also a Nutritional Chef here and have several Cookbooks in the publishing stages!
What Helps You Stay Motivated?
Nothing is better than feeling fit, healthy, and still turning heads!
What Is Yout Philosophy On Training?
I love the benefits of being healthy. Never getting sick, having clear clean skin, and your clothes always fitting.
1. Take simple steps everyday like cutting out any pop or soda drinks
2. Stop salting your food, the food we eat contain plenty of sodium already. You train your taste buds to crave healthy fresh foods.
3. Cut out the sugars. Use stevia or Truvia in place
4. Get more protein!! Most important thing I tell women right off is start eating more protein and your will automatically start losing the weight.
Building muscle is fun, and the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn while being sedentary.
What Does Your Workout Look Like?
Hard legs 3-4 days a week
Cardio 5-6 days a week/walk uphill, stair mill
Plyometrix 4 days a week
Super Set All Exercises
Squat press, deadlift – 4×15
Bent over rows, hamer curls – 4×12
Squat jumps, split squats – 3×10
What Does Your Diet Look Like?
Mainly I consume all whole grain, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and oats
fruits sparingly but veggies are endless. I limit my condiments to fresh salsa, mustards, horseradish, and lite soy sauce and vinegars.
Proteins are all egg whites, lean chicken breast, lean ground turkey and fish.
How Do You Deal With Cravings?
I make whatever I am craving but in a healthy version. If I crave pizza, I make a while grain version, sweets are easy cause I am like a magician when it comes to sugar free deserts 🙂 (I’ve been referred to as Merlin when it comes to baking with protein powder lol).

Cooking/Baking Healthy! then Eating what I make haha…
Anything outdoors: I enjoy hiking, surfing, playing cards at the beach and eating fro-yo.
What Are Your Favourite Supplements?
Pro 5 Protien powder because its so lean I can have it close to competitions without holding water or bloating. Plus it gets those sweet cravings!
EVP Pre workout- gets me amped up and my blood pumping
Post work out BCAA’s for recovery to help fight muscle fatigue
Glutamine!! so I can train hard again the next day.
Lipocor- CLA, and L-Carnitine to speed up my metabolism and jump start fat burning.

What Is Your Greatest Achievement?
Attaining my Pro Card was quite an accomplishment but I always want more, now I am aiming for the Olympia!
What Do You Love About Competing?
The Cheat meal afterwards haha.. I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when I step off stage knowing all the hard work has paid off.
