Mike Westerdal is Bodybuilding expert and power lifter with many years experience, he is the author of the critical bench program...
Who Is Mike Westerdal?
Mike Westerdal started lifting at the age of 15. At the time, he couldn't even bench 100 lbs. That changed quickly as he trained hard and intelligently. By age 18, his bench was up to 275 lbs.
Playing college football, Mike and a select group of teammates ignored the team's mandatory lifting program. They didn't think it was the best approach. So they "faked" their way through the mandatory lifting and then headed to a local gym to do their "real" workouts, workouts they devised based on the philosophy of working brief but heavy and intense.
The result? The renegade lifting group produced several team record bench presses. Mike was up to a 400 lb. bench and went on to play professional football.
Mike later became an ACE certified personal trainer and has helped thousands make fast and dramatic improvements in their bench press with his Critical Bench Program. Based on the principles proven by that renegade lifting group, the customized Critical Bench Program guides trainers of all experience levels through an intense ten-week program with the goal of adding 50 lbs. to their bench press.
